The first recipe of 供辰丹 [Kong-Jin-Dan or KDD] is mentioned in the medical manuscript written during Yuan Dynasty. It was served to emperors to boost energy and strengthen their health. Later it becomes popular among Korean royals as well. In the Korean medical manuscript “Dongui Bogam”(1613) it is said that 供辰丹 [Kong-Jin-Dan or KDD] strengthens life energy, balances circulatory systems in body, and is able to prevent illnesses. Over years, 供辰丹 [Kong-Jin-Dan or KDD] proved to be effective for treatments of fatigue, migraines, dizziness, problematic menstruation, malnutrition as a result of illness or hectic lifestyle, and weakened liver. Also, it is used as a supplement for treatments of neurological disorders and post stroke conditions. |
