Dr. Sang-Heon Cho became director of Kwangdong Hospital in March 2025. Before that he was a professor of allergy at Seoul National University Hospital, where he had treated and studied immune and allergic disease since 1992, and he directed the hospital's Gangnam Center, a checkup clinic in the same district.
He did not stop seeing patients when he took the director's office. His clinic is on 2F, in the Asthma & Allergy Center, next to the Anti-aging & Immunity Center.
Precise diagnosis, scientific treatment and warm, attentive care: this is how we deliver allergy care to an international standard.
Sang-Heon Cho, Hospital Director
Why he chairs the checkup board
Dr. Cho chairs the Program Development Board of the Global Checkup Center, the group that decides which tests go into each checkup. The Premium Immune Checkup came out of that board. It looks at immune aging, chronic inflammation and recovery, then connects the report to a recovery plan instead of ending at the report.
If the immune results point to an autoimmune or allergic problem, the patient does not leave with a referral letter. They go upstairs to his department on 2F.
