Not the same checkup for everyone,
but the checkup you need.
A checkup is about getting the right tests, not more of them. We start by deciding together what needs to be checked. This is the kind of checkup Kwangdong Hospital speaks of in its ‘More Valuable’ campaign.
Choosing the test items is the hardest part. What you need changes with your age, family history and current symptoms.
The value of a checkup comes not from the number of items but from reading the results and deciding what comes next. From endoscopy on B2 to imaging on B1, it is finished on two basement floors.
We listen to your age, family history and current symptoms, then choose the items.
Endoscopy on B2, imaging (MRI · CT) on B1. Done without leaving the building.
A radiology specialist reads the images again.
We explain in plain terms what your numbers mean.
If a finding comes up, you are connected directly to the relevant center.
We call it 4P, from the initials of the four steps’ English names.
Specialists including those who planned and ran the Seoul National University Hospital Gangnam Center design the programs themselves.
Before the checkup we listen to your condition and risk factors and recompose the items around you.
On the day, a concierge team accompanies you through the whole schedule. From endoscopy on B2 to imaging on B1, you never leave the building.
Only when something is found do we connect you to an in-house department, and if surgery is needed we refer you to a major university hospital. Recovery and long-term care come back here.
Not the same checkup for everyone,
but the checkup you need.
At Kwangdong Hospital, test items are decided by a board in which physicians, including the hospital director, take part directly. We check current medical evidence and make sure items do not overlap or leave gaps.
Results are read by Dr. Jae-Hong Yoon of Radiology, and explained by specialists in Gastroenterology and Family Medicine. Having someone whose job is to explain your results is what we care about most.
You can add disease-specific precision modules to a Standard or Premium program. If you choose two or more, overlapping items and the corresponding amount are deducted.
Unit: KRW million · as posted by the Kwangdong Global Health Checkup Center
The three Standard options are Ivory, Olive and Sky Blue. Platinum includes a stay in a VIP room and a dedicated concierge. Each range covers the men’s and women’s versions, and optional precision modules are added to suit your condition. Fees may vary with the test schedule and insurance coverage.
When two or more modules are chosen, overlapping items and the corresponding amount are deducted, so the actual fee is lower than the total above. The final composition and fee are confirmed at the checkup consultation. Fees may vary with the test schedule and insurance coverage.
